I am looking for an Ernest Garcia whose parents were Albert Garcia and Encarnacio German Garcia. My Ernie was in Salinas Ca and left no one has ever heard a thing about him since about 1940 approx.
Do u have any information on the Ernesto you are seaching for?perhpas it could be the same person. This person would of been my grandmother's brother.

Cuban Garcia's in Tampa/Ybor City to Philly

I'm searching for information on Louis & Louisa Garcia. Both were from Cuba and immigrated some time in the 1880's. Louis & Louisa had 5 children; Delio, Roland, Rene, Beltha & Urda. I believe they called Beltha "Bebe". The family moved to Philadelphia just before 1920 and lived in the Tampa/Ybor City area before that. Louisa's maiden name was Parra. She and Louis got a divorce and it's my understanding Louis went BACK to Cuba where he lived out the rest of his life. Loui's parents were Jose & Idolina. I believe Louis also had a brother named Baltazar. Please let me know if you have any connections.

Johnny J. Garcia Johnny J. Garcia, of Canoncito, NM, went home to be with his Lord and savior on Monday, September 21, 2009. He was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Adelaido and Mary Garcia; and in-laws, Carmel and Juanita Romero. He is survived by his loving wife and soul mate of 51 years, Tillie, always together and loved every moment; his daughter, Glenda; sons: Roland (Myrna), Gary (Melissa), Roland II (Dana). Also survived by his grandchildren whom he loved so much: Augusta, Eliseo, Andy, and Aspen; great grandchildren: Bella and Rio; and by a very close sister, Nora Varela and her family. Special thanks to his wife's loving family and loyal friends: Mario, Joe, and Orlando. Retired firefighter of the DOE in Los Alamos, A United States Korean War Navy Veteran, he loved the outdoors; he was an avid horseman, hunter, cattleman, and he also enjoyed hunting and riding in the Pecos Wilderness with his sons, and was also a big fan of NASCAR. Words cannot describe what a great man he was; we are so blessed to have had him in our lives. A Rosary will be held on Monday, September 28, 2009, Noon, at the Santa Fe Funeral Options & Memorial Gardens, 417 East Rodeo Road with an open house to follow in celebration of Johnny's life at the Elks Lodge in Santa Fe. Dario J. Garcia, age 82, passed away September 22, 2009. He was born in Clayton, New Mexico on February 23, 1927, and has resided in Pensacola, FL for over 50 years. Dario served in the United States Navy during the Korean, Vietnam, and Cuban wars. He retired after 20 years of active duty, and was employed by the Civil Service for 20 years until his retirement. Dario was a great father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Garcia. He is survived by his son Michael (wife Debbie) Garcia; three grandsons, Michael J. Garcia, Clinton D. Garcia, and Keith M. Garcia; and six great granddaughters, Jessica Garcia, Heather Garcia, Lynnsey Garcia, Katie Garcia, Megan Garcia, and Briannah Garcia. Graveside services with full military honors will be held on Monday, September 28, 2009 at 1:15 p.m. at Barrancas National Cemetery. Arrangements made by Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home.

Adolph was born November 9, 1933, the son of Alberto and Inez Garcia in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alberto and Inez; and his brother, Joe. He had also worked for 25 years for the Rock Island Rail Road. He attened the St. James Catholic Church in McDonough. Searching for the parents of Felipe Garcia (b ca 1725) and Eusebia Gonzales (b ca 1725), married ca 1750.

They were the parents of Maria Josefa (m Jose Antonio Galvan 30 Aug 1767, Sabinas Hidalgo, NL), Maria Catarina (m Santiago Solis 27 Apr 1769, Cerralvo, NL}, Juan Jose (m Maria Faustina Nunez 11 Feb 1771, Cerralvo), and Leonarda (m Jose Ignacio Toscano 3 Mar 1783, Cerralvo).

This Felipe's parents were NOT Joseph de Jesus Garcia and Maria Josepha Longoria. I have followed church records for my Garcia ancestry but I am stumped at Felipe and Eusebia.

Any help, along with information as to where I may find documentation is greatly appreciated.

My family was "lined up" to be executed by Pancho Villa, by the grace of God Cortez was en route and the threat chased off Villa. This was approximately 1919.

I too am looking for my Garcia family. My relatives were Luis/Louis and Louisa Garcia. Luis/Louis was from Cuba but his family was from Spain and I believe his family members were cigar makers. His wife Louisa's maiden name was Parra. Louis & Louisa had 5 children named Delio, Roland, Rene, Urda & Beltha. Louis & Louisa both came to the USA around or before 1900. Louis supposedly went back to Cuba after he and his wife got a divorce. Does this sound like anything in your family?

Hello, he was one of my uncles and have left messages for Javier his son whom I haven't met but he hasn't returned my calls. I left a couple of postings for you also but again no response, maybe the third time will be the charm. We also have a cousin named Ramiro that gave me Javier's number. Hope to hear from you.
