My GGGrandparents, Samuel and Nancy (Tipton) Gardner moved from Centre County, PA to Fayette County, IA in 1855. A Year later Sam's brother William H and his wife Isabella (Lucas) Gardner came to Fayette County. William later made several moves. One was to Mills County Iowa. William Hs Wife, Isabella finally wound up in Omaha, NB living with Her son William J. The City directory lists most of the family including Isabella who the 1900 directory called "Widowed" and living with her son William J. She is shown to with him in the 1910 directory also and then nothing.
