Hi Patricia,

I don't know how much help I can be to you, but I think we have a connection. After my grandmother passed away, I received the old family Bible. It has names and dates in it, but everything is in German -- which I cannot read and the writing is faded. I can make out very little, except the last names Dietrich, Garies (not Gareis) and Oeder.

My great-grandparents were Edward Joseph Dietrich and Catherine Alvina Klein. They were tenant farmers in Fayette Co., Ohio but I remember when I was little walking through the Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati with my grandma looking for relatives grave stones.

My grandmother is buried next to her parents (along with my grandfather and their infant son) in Morrow, Ohio. If this sounds familiar, please contact me.
