I am looking for any/all information about Jonas and Susan Garlitz of Maryland. He was born around 1818 in the Cumberland, Md. area and was married to a "Susan". Might anyone know her maiden name? I know Jonas was the son of Christian Garlitz II and his wife Elizabeth Durst. I am a descendant thru Jonas and Susan's son John Allen Garlitz who married Margaret "Maggie: Fitzwater.
