David Garnes was my great great grandfather, born in Jennings Gap Virginia (WV?) in 1816. His father was James, born in 1787. This is what I believe to be the correct family tree.

I can find very little info on the family. I know that David moved to Kansas before the Civil War, and died in LaCygne Kansas in 1900. I have most of the information on his 2nd family, but very little on the 3 children from his first marriage to Eliza Harris.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
