Believe Phineas Kimball Garney's grandparents were Joseph Garney, born Saint-Louis-du-HA!Ha! or Quebec, Canada, couldn't find date of death, and Margaret Blanchard, born 1800 in Canada.

Phineas' parents were Lewis Garney, born 1820 in Canada, died November 23, 1898 in Bridgewater, Windsor County, VT, and Elvia Matilda Dow, born 1827 in VT, died January 1, 1874 in Cabot, Washington County, VT. Lewis and Elvira married April 29, 1846 in Cabot, Washington County, VT.
