Hello! I'm taking a stab in the dark here. I am looking for a James Garr (possily born abt. 1859), who married Mary Doyle. Their son Christopher Joseph, b. 1892, was my g-grandfather, possible siblings include Fredrich, Willard, Katherine, Nellie, and Annie. All my Garr searching in Philadelphia turns up the names you listed in your post. I'm hoping some of yours has turned up mine. I have very little to go on besides Census, and my father's instance that Christopher spent time in an orphanage. There don't seem to be many Irish Philadelphis Garrs so I am hopeful for a connection. Thanks for any guidance you can offer!
