Looking for info on my grandfather John Watley Garrett, born abt 1884 in Mississippi, died 1919 while working for RR in Marion County, MS. He married Amarella Sojourner of Hopewell or Georgetown, MS.

They had at least 6 children, only 4 lived to adulthood. My mother was one of the 4. Her name Myra Garrett. She died in 1938 after the birth of third child. As far as I know she went to school in Crystal Springs, MS.

I hope someone out there knows some info. My sister and I can't find who his parents were or where he was born. I found him on the 1910 census and WWI draft.

His mother might have been a Pierce.
