With the approaching holidays, some of the testing companies are offering DNA testing at a reduced rate. It’s a good time to get involved.

Our Delaware research group currently has nine participants who were tested by FTDNA and one tested by Ancestry along with quite a few researchers who are not DNA participants. Please note when going to FTDNA’s homepage and typing in the surname Garrison, three surname projects will be listed for Garrison. We are part of the largest project, Garrisons’ Compass, and are listed as B-Garr*son Delaware Lines. The results of our nine are publicly posted on the Garrisons’ Compass YDNA results page.

If you think you may have ties to Garrison or Garretson in Delaware, Orange Co NC, or Franklin Co GA we would love to hear from you. You do not have to be interested in DNA testing.
