GARRETT (various spellings) DNA Project

re: https://www.familytreedna.com/public/GarrettDNAproject/ After the death of Mr. DICKASON, the job of Project Administrator was taken up by Katherine GERARD. A few days ago the GERARD, GARARD, GIRARDS (+ various spellings) were spun off into a new Project, which Katherine will administer.

Now the GARRETT DNA Project (various spellings GARROTT, GARRET,GARRETTE, etc) has 2 new Co-Administrators: Brenda GREEN brendagreen2009@live.com and Jackie Ashley PACE jackie@ashley-pace.com

We need more GARRETTS with various spellings in the Project & now is a good time for those who have toyed with the idea. In light of the huge success of FamilyTreeDNA's June Super Special, and in conjunction with many July reunions or events where www.ftdna.com will be speaking, they have decided to offer a variation of their recent promotion (ends July 30th). These are the best prices, marker for marker, of any company in the market.

Contact me if you want to know more. - Jackie PACE

I'm looking for my Great Grandfather's (William) Birth Date. I have found his Wife (Elizabeth) 3 Children: Charles James, Albert Edward(My Grandfather born 1870) and Henry. As far as I know, William was born in Norwich, Norfolk, England around 1835. It is possible that he was born in East London (Shoreditch, Dalston, Bethnal Green areas). I have just come back from Norwich to my home in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, having searched the IGI Records in the County Record Office, but found nothing. I did find Elizabeth and the 3 children in the 1881 Census living in Shoreditch, London. Evidently, William abandoned Elizabeth for another woman, but we do not know her name. I would really appreciate any help that anyone could give me.
