Hello To All,

I'm trying to locate any information pertaining to Washington Foster Garrison, b. Abt. 1818, d. 12/24/1862 @ home while on furlough in Anderson Co., SC; due to wounds received in the WBTS.

Foster is my GGGrandfather and was m. to Louisa Jane Morris.

I have information that indicates he "might" have been assigned to Co.D, 2nd Regt. or Co.D, 2nd SC Rifles. I'm trying to firm up this information before I contact the SC Archives.

Any information pertaining to Foster would be greatly appreciated. An old family photo of Foster is available (very faded, but one can see him just fine).

Please note: The e-mail shown by this site is NOT correct. You may contact me @ 1), 2) or 3)

Best regards,
