Is anyone out there researching GARTONs, tobacco merchants in Hull, Yorkshire and in Lincoln (and maybe elsewhere?), England, in the 19th century? Mine seem to have originated in the East Riding of Yorkshire (Garton on the Wolds, Kilham, etc..). If so, I would be interested in hearing from you, especially if you have a David Garton in the family or an Augusta or Cordelia.
