I've added a page to my Garvey Surname Study website containing a transcription of all 51 Garveys in the Emigrant Savings Bank Records. My website is at:

The link is under the "Garveys in the US" section.
The Emigrant Savings Bank was founded in New York in the early 1850's by Irish emigrants for Irish emigrants. The bank records that have survived are a valuable source of genealogical information - especially those known as the bank "Test Books". These Test Books contained answers to questions asked of the clients at the time the account was opened. The questions involved information that would presumably only be known to the client - and could therefore be used to identify them in later visits. The questions usually included year of birth, the ship and date of arrival in the US, and information about family members. The records date from the early 1850's to the early 1870's.
Anybody lucky enough to have a Garvey ancestor in these records will find a goldmine of information.
