Just read your posting. I have a connection with Severo Garza Bast & Ramona Saenz. Severo's parents were Severo Garza & Sofia Bast(I believe). Sofia was sister to my Gr-Grandmother, Sara Bast.

Hi there,
Somehow or other you've posted your message on a special board called the 'World Archives Project'. This board is for the use of a group of volunteers who are transcribing records that will soon be available for researchers via ancestry.com Perhaps records you are researching will be available there one day. At the moment though this board is used by the transcribers to discuss problems/issues with the records they're indexing.
You should post your message on one of the other ancestry boards - ie a surname board, or a locality board.

Hello. I am soooo hoping you will get this. I have found your father's baptismal record on a microfilm. He was baptized on 23 December 1892 in San Fernando, Tamaulipas, Mexico. I also found a few of his siblings who were baptized in that town if you are wanting that information.

Our ancestor, Julian De La Garza had a son named Manuel and a daughter named Andrea. Julian was born in 1920. Manuel does not have a marriage date....but would come close as a guestimate.

Juana Francisca Garza (De La Garza?) and Tomas Gutierres were the parents of Jacinto Gutierres De La Garza who married Maria Silvestra Canales Oct 26, 1827 in San Agustin Parrish Church, Laredo, TX. Jacinto was born in Camargo, Tamaulipas, Mexico abt 1800-1810.
I am searching for information and ancestry of Tomas and Juana Francisca to add to my family tree. Any information is deeply appreciated. I am a descendant of Jacinto and Maria Silvestre and willing to share information on their descendancy.

Santiago Garza's from the Monterrey, Mexico area. I recognize some of the names you have listed for your great aunts and uncles but not all of them so am not sure if we are connected or not. Do you know where you great grandfather's family lived in Mexico?

My mother is Nancy. My father, grandfather and great grandfather are all Santiago Garza's. My grandmother was Maria de Jesus Delgado...also orginally from Coahuila via Monterrey.

I know we have many relatives in Texas. Garza's, Lozano's, Trevinos and Delgado's.

Are you doing a family tree on both you and your wife's sides?

If you are talking about Santiago the 1st...no i don't..As far as i know Del Rio area....alot of my garza relatives have grown up in the del rio area....matter of fact we have almost a whole block of Garza's....i know that my grandfather was born in el remolino zaragoza, coahila mexico. but that is all i know....where do you live?

We are related to Garcia's Miranda's Trevino's Delgado's and the list goes on.

My deceased ancestor is Maria Emiliana Longoria Zamora De-La_Garza. She was born possibly 1798. Her husband was Jose Nepomuceno Longoria, also born in 1798.
Marcela Longoria Zamora de-la-garza (their daughter) married Jose Antonio Salinas. These people are my great great grandmothers ancestors. Her name is Gorgonia Salinas Trevino. We have no idea where she was born. She died in Karnes City, Texas in 1936. She had several siblings, Aniceta, Dionicia, Silberia and Juana. Let me know if this helps. Close, but no banana!

I have a Guadalupe Longoria marrying a Lorenzo De La Garza. He was born Abt 1765 so the marriage date would be 1780 - 1790 I would guess. According to Ancestry.com they had at least one daughter (there may be other children) a Maria Gertrudis Juana Silva who is a direct ancestor. She married a Jose Manuel De la Garza (whose father was Marcelio De La Garza) who was born abt 1780, and they had at least one daughter named Maria Merced De La Garza Silva borb in 1802. These are all high speculative since I got the from Ancestry.com without much other verification.

Hello. I am a direct descendent of Antonio and Severiana. They are my great-great-great grandparents. Simona, their daughter was my great-great grandmother. I have very limited information on them, however I am in the process of ordering birth and baptismal records from San Fernando around the time that Severiana was born. If I find out anything I can let you know if you're still interested. It can take up to a month to get the order in. Were you able to come up with any more information on them? Any extra information you have on them will make my search much easier.

Looking for information about Hilaria Garza. Her parents were Manuel Garza and Jesusa Garza. I believe she was born in Sabinas Hidalgo, Nuevo Leon Mexico.

She married Doroteo Monsalvo in Medina Texas 14 Feb 1876. He was the son of Jose Maria Monsalvo and Margarita Gonzales. Doroteo was possibly born in Pachuca, Hidalgo, Mexico.

Information about their marriage is from the Paseo de marriages of the Garzas, I think of Medina Texas.
