I'm trying to build a history of my mother's family, her father's name was John and as far as I know was from Galicia Poland. My grandmother's name shows up several ways - Stephania (Rindak or Ryndak) and census records show her as Stella. My grandfather remarried after Stephania/Stella's death.

I have an old photo of my grandfather in what looks like a WWI uniform other than that I really don't have much information. I have my father's history complete as far as I can go but would like to get my mom's history.

All help would be greatly appreciated. I've noticed that sometimes the name would show up as Gonshur or a shortened version of Gasiorowski but I don't remember my mom mentioning either except that she did tell me that the name would have been pronounced Gonshur (spelled possibly Gąsior).
