I have James W. Gasque/Gaskey married Caroline Coven, a widow with children, 15 Mar. 1866 in Monroe Co., AL, one child, Ada. James died young.

James was son of Thomas Gasque and Mary Frances Ogbourne who mar. 18 Aug. 1835 in Montgomery Co., AL. They had four children, John, Harriet Elizabeth, James W. and William. Thomas died prior to 1850 Census and Mary Frances and children are found living with Nancy Ogbourn (her mother?) in Butler. Soon after she married neighbor Reuben R. Stinson and had two other sons, Reuben J. (my gg-grandfather) and Yancy Stinson.

Hope this helps.
