Yes most do live in slovenija , however a predominant many also live in Minnesota around the St Paul , St Cloud areas. Many , many slovenes migrated to Minnesota. As for the slovenian Gasperlins many do come from Kranj, Logarska Dolina (sp) , and so forth. The name Gasperlin is old germanic with few still in Germany and Austria. ... so I am not sure of your point when you repeat same information in your response???????

I am searching for information on my Greatgrandmother - Johana Gasperlin, she came to the US from Ljublanac, Austria in 1906. She left Europe from France and entered the US through Ellis Island. After she arrived in the US she married Valentin Susnik they started their family in Westmoreland,PA then moved to Sheldon, Rusk County, WI where my Grandfather was born in 1916. there was another Gasperlin on the same ship that Johana traveled; his name was Jakob, not sure if this was a relative or not.
