Hi-I am from Marion, SC, and descend from the Gasque line. My great-grandmother was Cora Lee Gasque (b 1879) and Absolom (1790-1859) was her great-grandfather.

Jennifer Huskey, daughter of>Marty Huskey, daughter of>Dorothy Lee Edmund Huskey (1918), daughter of>Charles Herbert Edmund and Cora Lee Gasque(1879), who was the daughter of>Sarah (Sallie) Jane Gasque(b 23 DEC 1852)*** and William B. Rowell Gasque (b 27 SEP 1842), son of Ann Elizabeth Rowell and Archibald (Archie) Gasque (b 1808), son of>(???No Name???) Dozier and Absolom Gasque (b 1790), son of>Samuel Gasque (b 1737) and Rebecca Dozier (b 1747?).

***Here are Sallie Jane's ancestors:
Sallie Jane, daughter of>Sarah Finklea and William B. Gasque (b 10 JUL 1822), son of>Henry H. Gasque and Milley Bryant.

It's a little confusing w/ the 2 Williams and the 2 Doziers...This is not my research, but someone else's. I plan on taking pics of the tombstones next time I go home to Marion so I can see if that's all correct. I hope it helps somewhat.
