My g-g-gpa was Joseph Gasser (son of Jacob) who emigrated from Nunningen (Lucerne) in 1880 at age 21. He left from the port of Le Havre, France and arrived in New York City on Feb. 14th, 1880. From there he went to the St. Paul/Minneapolis community. He married Kate Dannenburger- (biological father's name) Miller (step-father's name). I am descended through their daughter, Anna Lena Gasser.

Where I am stuck is on a name for Joseph's mother or any info about his parents at all beyond his father's name.
