No I have found no info yet but I think if one of us requests the social security information on Lillian Gathman from her social secuirty death records we can find out where their parents were born. I think that they were the ones who immigrated from Germany. Dad always talked about his grand father who had moved from Minnesota to Iowa with them as speaking German and my grandfather Richard Henry was fluent in German. They began speaking only German during WW1 for fear of being branded traitors.
