My great,great,great Grandmother was Jane Rains. Her death certificate lists her parents as William Rains and Christina Martin. My question is Christina Martin Rains the daughter of Elizabeth and William C. Martin and is Elizabeth the daughter of Capt. Charles Gatliff? Can anyone help me with this? I am interested in becoming a DAR and need to be sure of the connections. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
