I am the granddaughter of Lawrence Gatling. My father Paul Gatling is the youngest son of Lawrence and Alda(Haltiwanger) Gatling. Their other children included Lawrence Jr. Jacob, Isaiah, Eva, and Katherine(Katy). They were born in Pennsylvania. Upon the death of my grandmother Lawrence brought the children to live with my greatgrandmother his mother in law Lillie Young and left never to return. I had heard once that he ran away with his best friends wife married her and settled in Chicago Illinois. I would greatly appreciate any information on him and his other offspring which would be my aunt and uncles and my childrens great aunt and uncles. Please help me with the missing portion of my family tree.
