I beleive there is some confusion here. I was inquiring about Jean Baptiste GAUCHER born 1877. Michel Callihoo does have a brother Jean baptiste CALLIHOO born 1832. They are the sons of Louis Kwarakantie Callihoo and Marie Katis la Sekanaise (his country wife).

The only relationship between my Jean Baptiste GAUCHER to Michel CALLIHOO is as a grand nephew. Jean Baptiste GAUCHER born 1877 is the GRANDSON of Michel's brother Louis Dit Dekara Callihoo born 1807

Michel Gaucher born 1829 Jasper House, Parents (F) Piere Jean Gaucher (M) Lisette Colette Grandfather Baptiste Gaucher, born possibly in France. I found alot of information on the following web sites:

I am looking for information on Alphonsine Gaucher or Gouchette and her parents. She was born in France in 1860 and died in 1932, most likely in California. She was married to Auguste Amar on January 7 1880 and to Louis Didier on June 3 1889. Her parents are Xavier and Honorine. They were both born in France, but I think that they came to the US and lived in Los Angeles County, California.

I am trying to find anything to help me locate information on my grandfather's family. His name was Walter Harold GOSHEA, he was born in Sunderland MA in 1906. His parents were Isreal Peter GOSHEA and Rose M. LANGLOIS.
I believe that Isreal spelt his last name GAUCHER, before he moved to MA from Quebec. His father's name was Eugene Goshea, but again, I believe he changed it when he moved to MA. Some of Eugene's children had the GAUCHER spelling, and kept it. Isreal was born about 1875 in Canada, family says in Quebec. His mother is said to be Mary ARPAN, but I found a Eugene in the 1930 census, in Holyoke MA, and it appears his wife's name is Delia. I would appreciate any help anyone can give.

Thank you very much for the info on Caroline Forgit Gaucher who was my great grandmother. I do not know what Alfred's middle name was. I have a copy of their daughter Florence E. Gaucher's birth certificate which only stated his first name. It stated that Caroline and Alfred's birthplace was Canada but that is all I know.

Florence and her twin brother Leo were born in Thompson CT in 1896. I believe that is where they lived prior to moving to MA.

Are you related?

Caroline Fogit Gaucher died in Spencer, MA of pneumonia on Feb 26, 1939 at the age of 67 which means she was born in 1872. She was daughter of Henry Forgit. Her son Eugene Gaucher, retired Spinner, died Dec 7, 1965 of Emphysema. I Caroline gave birth to triplets. Hilaire A. Gaucher was born Jan 12, 1899, and Felix W. Gaucher was born on Jan 13, 1899. Her son Joseph B. Gaucher, who was also born on Jan 13, 1899, died Feb 1, 1899 at 21 days. Her son Leo Gaucher, who was a barber, was born July 27, 1896 and died in Spencer, MA. Dec 2, 1979 at the age of 83 of Vagal Syncope. His last known address was East Brookfield, MA. What is Alfred's middle name so I can search??
