STANFORDVILLE – Teresa Gaudette, 79, passed away Tuesday, October 17th, at the Northern Dutchess Hospital. Many years ago Mrs. Gaudette worked as a secretary for the Boston and Maine Railroad in Boston, MA; and, after moving to the Hudson Valley, she was a real estate agent for Century 21 in Mt. Kisco, NY for 15 years. She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church, Bangall; and was active in the Stanford Garden Club, and as a Volunteer at the Northern Dutchess Hospital. She enjoyed spending time knitting for her family. Born January 29, 1927 in Lowell, MA, she was the eldest of the nine children born to Stephen and Gertrude (Beaubien) McKenna. On June 23, 1951 in Lowell, MA, she married Charles H. Gaudette. Mr. Gaudette passed away July 24, 2002. Mrs. Gaudette is survived by four children Gail M. Lee of Rhinebeck; Charles H. Gaudette, Jr. of Hyde Park; Stephen E. Gaudette of Hopewell Junction and Paul D. Gaudette of Phoenix, AZ; 13 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, several of her brothers and sisters, and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours are Thursday, October 19th, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM, at the Dapson-Chestney Funeral Home, 51 West Market St., Rhinebeck. The funeral will begin Friday, 9:00 AM, at the funeral home and proceed to the Immaculate Conception Church, Hunns Lake Rd., Bangall, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at10 AM.
