Thank you, B.Warnica, for answering my Gauley query. We have much to talk about, so if I can do it by E-mail, I would appreciate it. Just a minute ago, I had finished detailing for you all kinds of facts, and then hit some key, which wiped it all out. I'm too tired now to reconstruct my reply! (80 years young) The bottom line is Jane Gauley Lennox' parents were Jane Jami(e)son and David Gauley, b. 1800 in Ireland. Jane's parents were Andrew Jamison (no "e") and Mary Jane McFadden of Cootehill, Cty. Cavan. Let's figure out a way to continue this discussion. I'd love to know about your Gauley connection in Sincoe!

Hello Helen
What you are asking about looks familiar to me but I have a Jane Jamieson married to a William Gauley. This is from their daughter (Jane Gauley) death registration. She married Thomas Lennox and when she died in 1929, her informant mentions her father was William. Do I have this wrong or do I have the wrong Gauley Jamieson people?
My Gauley family in Simcoe County is so hard to put together.
If your Emma Gauley was born in Ms. and moved to Canada,
in the mid 1800's, I somehow find it hard to believe that she or a close relative named EMMA GAULEY would be living in or near Bagalusa, La.in 1950. However, strange things happen, so If you can make a connection there I would appreciate hearing about it. Also, if you will read down the message board, there is someone else looking for a Gauley that seems
to fit your discription pretty close.

Greetings Tammi, this is Sam Carpenter in Florida. My mother, Myrtle Carpenter, was the daughter of Charlie Everett Myres who had an aunt living in or near Slidell and remembers
her to be Emma Gauley. I will contact my mother for more
information now that I have heard from you. Please send me your Email address. Thanks samcar1@aol.com.
