I'm looking for any information on this branch of the Gavin tree. John Gavin lived in Ireland, married Ann Rafftery. Their son Patrick was born in County Mayo about 1850. He married Catherine Walsh who was born in Kingston, Ontario, Canada and they settled in Scranton, PA. In Scranton they had several children; Arthur, James, John, Thomas and Mary. Thomas was my grandfather. I'm trying to find information on this line.
