Hi, thanks for your reply I was beginning to think I was the only one looking for the Gawlers!! I have very little info or family history. Esther Gawler b 1850 was my gg grandmother, I think her parents were Robert Gawler and Elizabeth but further back from them I am uncertain. So I would be most grateful for any info you would be kind enough to share.
