I am looking for proof that Thomas Gay is the father of my
3ggrandfather. I found Thomas Gay in the 1830 Darlington Co.
SC census. There was a son 15-20 yrs old living with him.
I beleive that this would be Nathaniel. He was about 18 in 1830. Does anyone know of the wife & children of Thomas Gay.
