I have a copy of the Civil War pension file for Joseph E Gayler who married Clarissa J. Beck. Joseph contracted tuberculosis in Marietta GA in 1864 during the Civil War . It finally killed him in 1869 after much pain and suffering. May God rest his soul.
He and Clarissa had several children Francis M (son) Clara J, Effie G, Emma A) between 1850 and 1860.
