I am continuing research on a line of Geigers who came into Kentucky from Maryland in the 1780's with a party of settlers. Frederick Geiger of Hagerstown Maryland was married to Ann Funk, d/o Jacob Funk & Ann Roland of Funkstown Maryland. He served in the War of 1812, Battle of Tippecanoe and he and his father ( Frederick) and brother ( Jacob), signed the patriots oath of fidelity in Maryland and served in the Corn Stalk Militia in Kentucky.
