Evangeline T. Robillard, 99, of Victor Street, Woonsocket, died Oct. 20 at the Holiday Retirement Home in Manville.
Born in St. Emile de L'Ergine, Quebec, Canada, a daughter of the late Alexandre and Marie (Genereux) Robillard, she had lived in Woonsocket since 1918 and was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Woonsocket. She worked for the former French Worsted Company of Woonsocket for 30 years before retiring in 1974. She leaves a daughter, Elizabeth D. Cole of Woonsocket; a sister Rebecca "Rachel" Frayne; a grandson Steven R. Cole; and a niece.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, Oct. 23, at 9 a.m. from The Menard Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 1200 Mendon Road, Woonsocket. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may visit with the family before Mass from 9-10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham, Mass.
