I would like to know which Gentry family may have owned my great great great grandfather Charles Gentry. He was born approximately 1841. His son was Jefferson Gentry, born in 1866. He married Jane Gentry (nee Miller). Jane's mother was Amanda last name was Boggs, Baggs, Biggs, Davis, Miller. Her husband was George Miller. They had about 8-9 children. If anyone has any information on the owners (since I am stuck right now) I would appreciate it. Apparently slave owners kept extensive records on their "property" that may be useful in getting over the "brick wall" of slavery. They were mainly in the Richmond, Madison, Kentucky area and then migrated to the Hamilton County, Ohio area.
