Married before 1861 in Cincinnati, OH to Maria Anna Trefzger. Buried in St. Murin Catholic Cemetery in Tell City, IN. Occupation was farmer. Witnessed the naturalization papers of Simon Trefzger Jr. (Marianna's brother) on Sep 1, 1860. Probably of German descent. Had two daughters:

Emma Georg born 15 Oct 1861in Cincinnat, OH and
Mary Lousia Georg born 9 Sep 1868.
