Do you know of any surnames Gerard who served in the French Mexican War. I am looking for the family of my great great grandfather on my mothers side, but I have very little information. According to family legend he fell in love with a woman in Puebla Mexico and they had a child who then had a grand daughter named Gudelia Gerard in Baja California.
