Trying to find Gerald and Geoffrey Gerke - sons of Vincent Gerke (1895) and Emily Wellington (I believe that was her surname). I believe that Geoff emigrated to Canada in about 1960 and married Charlotte and they had twins and Jerry (Gerald) followed. Gerald was a big band sax player. If you have any hints it would be appreciated as one of their relatives (the grandaughter of Florence, Wendy is trying to find them and trace the history) - oh and they are also related to me but only through marriage on the Blamires of Yorkshire ;o)

The only sibling that I have met of my Dad's is my Uncle Jim who I do not believe is related to your Mom.

How about yourself, any brothers, sisters, and/or children?

Please let me know if you are able to find out anything about our Grandfather. I know very little of him, except for he won the golden gloves for boxing a long time ago and that he was a tool and die maker.

Good luck with your search.

Correct on Jim not being related to my mom, Sunny. There is also a half brother, David.

Yes, actually I have 7 half siblings. Though I only see 3. My sister Laura, and brother Joel are my mom's children, from her first marriage. My brother Scott is from my dad's first marriage. I was born from my parents second marriages.

I have one son, Robert Carl, who is 7. He is a wonderful little boy. Bright, and full of energy.

I have no info as of yet, still looking. But I would be willing to share if I find something.

Tracy

PS - Good luck on your degree.

Do you have a Pearl Elizabeth Gerke and her brother Albert? Albert served in the Army and was Richland County's first casualty. Don't know much more than that other than Pearl was born in 1899. She married a Leo? Bennett and they had 4 children....Albert, Clifford, Luella and Gaylord Raymond ( my father) I attended her funeral when i was 28 years old back in 1986 and Pearl had alot of sisters there. I did not get to meet any of them unfortunately so don't know any names.
