Death of A. M. German
A. M. German, whose death we mentioned in last night's issue was born in Montgomery county, New York, Feb. 13, 1813. In 1819 he moved to Lincoln county, Canada, where he was raised and educated. He came to Dickinson county, Kansas, October 15, 1859 [should be 1869], and settled in Willowdale township, on his present place where he resided at the time of death April 28, 1898. He leaves 11 living children and wife to whom will go out the sympathy of a wide circle of friends. Mr. German has throughout his residence here been one of the active workers in the Democratic ranks and has never faltered in his allegiance to that party. Funeral Sunday, May 1, at 2:30 p. m. from the home.
