Were my grandparents from Castiglione de Carovilli,Italy. The last name, Giacomo, was originally spelled, DiGiacomo. Grandfather dropped the "Di" after coming to USA. They settled in Krebs, Oklahoma, near McAlester. Grandfather worked in the coal mines, as did immigrants from all over the world. Later, the family moved to Wilburton, Ok.
