      <description>&lt;br&gt;             Gregory Giannelli,&lt;br&gt; Gregory Giannelli, age 48, &lt;br&gt;a resident of Erie passed away suddenly Thursday October 1, 2009 while exercising at Asbury Woods. He was born on February 25, 1961 in Erie,County, PA,&lt;br&gt; the son of Nancy Surovick Giannelli and Robert Giannelli and his wife Diane. &lt;br&gt;Greg attended Blessed Sacrament grade school and was a 1979 graduate of Tech Memorial High School where he played on the football team and also played in the annual Save An Eye football game. He was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, the Elks Club, and the Sons of Lake Erie. Greg worked as a Corrections Officer for the Erie County Prison. &lt;br&gt;His two children and his family were the most important things in life to him. He was an avid outdoorsman, having enjoyed hunting and fishing and he loved to take his kids fishing and canoeing. Greg also enjoyed cooking, camping, hiking and just being with family and friends. Besides his parents, he is survived by his beloved wife, Joan F. Scolio Giannelli and their two children, Jacquelyn age 9 and Jeffrey age 7. &lt;br&gt;He is also survived by two sisters; Judy Truitt and her husband, Mark &lt;br&gt;and Ann Giannelli and her husband, Mike Sorek, all of Erie. Two brothers, Robert Giannelli and his wife, Tannaz of Ann Arbor, Mich. &lt;br&gt;and Daniel Giannelli and his wife, Jennifer of Erie.&lt;br&gt; Greg is also survived by his in-laws, Mary and A.J. Scolio and he is the brother â€"in-law of Anne and Bob Halper of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; Jay Scolio of Oxford, Ohio; Julie and David Sanner of Erie; Amy and Daniel Chardeen of Erie and John and Rebecca Scolio of Raleigh, N.C. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends are invited to call at the John J. Quinn Funeral Home, West 9th &amp;amp; Liberty St. Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend Prayer Services there Monday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Peace Catholic School,2401 West 38th St., Erie, PA 16506 or to the Erie Humane Society,2707 Interchange Rd., Erie, PA 16509.       <description>I am trying to find information on a Raffael Giannelli who was on a Everett, Mass. city directory for 1940. My grandfather Carlo Giannelli had a brother Raffael who settled around Boston.He was born 01 June 1878 in Ghivizzano, It. He waasbaptized Umberto Raffael. But info from Italy and some papers my grandfather had he went by the name of Raffael. Any information I can get on him will really be appreiated.&lt;br&gt;Jack Giannelli </description>
