I have been trying to research a Filadelfio Giannetto and his family for some time now. Filadelfio is listed as the sponsor for my grandfather Carmelo Gallo into New York in 1905. Carmelo list him as his uncle. They were both from San Fratello Italy. I have also found another link between the Gallo's and the Giannetto's. It seems that an Angelo Giannetto married a Maria Rosa Gallo in 1910 in Manhattan. Angelo also lists Filadelfio as an uncle when he arrived into Ellis Island. I can find no further info on him or his family. Might any of this sound fimilar.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.
Renee gripkid2aol.com
