Hi there, funny thing to share a name with people you've never seen and still, there's a slight possibility that we are related somehow...I just wanted to give my contribution to this post:
My name is Luca and I'm still 100% Italian, as both of my parents are from Sicily. However we live in Germany, Frankfurt now, and that's where I'm working. My parents are from the city Modica, provincia di Ragusa, in South Sicily, that's where our common surname is originated - in Sicily. My pa's name is Giorgio, my grandpa's Giuseppe (like my middle name). Just in case anybody's interested :-) How many generations are between you guys and the first generation that came to the US?
E poi per ultimo: non credo che sappiate parlare l'italiano, o erro?
Luca
