I am trying to get more information to help complete the family tree that my father and I started. My grandfather's name is David Bernard Gibb, his father's name is John Gibb who was born in Elphinstone Scottland and buried in Pratt City Alabama. He was married to a Catherine O'Doud Gibb who was born in Clarkstown Scottland, she died in 1941, and was also buried in Pratt City , Ala.
His father William Gibb was born in Elphinstone Scotland was a coal miner who was buried in Carbon Hill Ala and he was married to a Elizabeth Wilson in Cockpen Scotland on October 9, 1874.
