My grandmother's sister was Mary Gertrude West Giberson. She was married to Byron in about 1907. They later divorced and she married Fred Fulkerson. I know that Gertrude adopted a daughter named Juanita at some point. I do not know which husband she had when the adoption took place. Mary died in CA around 1958-59. I know very little about Jim, Elden and Howard (just a few dates). I do know quite a bit on the West family, though. I would love to share. Do you have Gertrude's obit or birth cert.? She was born in England. My grandmother (Ethel Alice West) was the first West child born in the states.
I also, have another Giberson in the family. My great-grandfather's sister, Mary Sophia West, married a George W.Giberson in Macoupin Co., IL in 1885.
Have you heard of a Keith Giberson? I have his info. from Ancestry.com, but his e-mail address is outdated. He seems to be searching for Mary Sophia and George Giberson.
