Edward Giddings

I feel a bit silly responding to a message that's over 3 years old, but what the heck!

I am also descended from Edward Giddings or Giddins of Fort Niagara, though much more distantly. He was my GGGG grandfather, and I am descended through his first wife.

He was certainly a fascinating character. If one can have a favorite ancestor, I do believe he's mine!

I don't have a great deal of information on him, just what I've gleaned from Google Books, but would be willing to share what I have.

Hi Teresea....I have a Letitia Doris Gidding who was witness at my grandparents wedding in Toronto, Ontario. Canada. Is this the location you are searching. If so, do you have a Letitia Giddings in your data file. She would have been born around the same time as your Gidding....You can E-mail me if you like. Thanks Chris.
