Re: Giebler family at Champion City Mill

I am descended from John's brother, Henry Adolph Giebler. My records indicate that John and Bertha had 5 children: George Eberhart (1889-1902)
Della Mable (1890-1978)
Ida Louise (1892-1893)
Louis Arthur (1893-1957)
Helen Amanda (1903-?)
I assume it was Louis who was involved in the mill.
-Mary Giebler Camp

Giebler family at Champion City Mill

I am looking for the name of the son of John E. Giebler of the Champion City Mill in Franklin County, Missouri. John's parents were Eberhard and Elizabeth Rapps Giebler. John married Bertha Weirich. John and Bertha's daughter was Della. The had a son who was also involved in the mill but I do not have his name. I am not related, but I just research local history. Thanks.

Glen Blesi

Giebler

My late mother was illegitimate daughter of KATHRINE GIEBLER (born about 1874)and was named NELLIE AUTY GIEBLER (Birth 1907). She was later legally adopted by a THOMAS AUTY. Family stories have it that he was her biological father.
Kathrine later married TOM SOWDEN in Wakefield while living in Station Lane in Purston Jaglin. On her marriage cert her father is listed as MARTIN GIEBLER, a farmer.
On the 1901 & 1911 census she is listed as Naturalised British Citizen having been born in Germany.
Have been unable to find trace after marriage in 1911.
NB Giebler is very often mis-quoted as Gubler.
Any help gratefully recd.
