I have found some of the information you gave me. Thank you. I am having trouble with how many children Creslaus had. Censes information does not mention Ignatius my grandfather. Find a grave information does not list the same children for Cruslaus and Anna. Why and when did some children change the spelling for their surname

Are you trying to track down all of Charles' children then? I'm finding info on this family, but I think you already have much of it. What specific info do you want/need?

Looks like Frank = Ignatius Frank and his wife was Edna. Is that correct?

He's indexed as Ingnatina (!) F Giebraski in the 1930 US Census.

OK, I've figured out a little from your other posts.

Your father was Laurence Franklin Giebraski, and according to WWII records, his father was Frank Giebraski from Downers Grove, IL.

I'm seeing what else I can find....

Do you have access to all of ancestry.com?

Where did/does your father live? What were his parents' names? When was he born (only provide this if he's passed away, because we're not supposed to share/post info on living individuals.)

Is Creslaus your father? Or another relative?

Looking for information on my father's family history. The surname spelling has changed a number of times. Not all children for Creslaus (maybe Charles) appear on death notices or census reports.

My dad was Laurence Giebraski. Grandfather Ignatius Giebrask. Greatgrandfather Creslaus Gieburowski. Just started this research need all the help I can get.

I just found this site today (4/1/02) so I don't know if you ever read messages since yours was posted so long ago. I was born in 1949 and lived in Downers most of my life. My father is Joseph Lawrence Gebraski, also lived in DG and my grandfather was Walter Gebraski, lived in DG until his death in 1961. I think he had a brother Ignatius.
