I am looking for Sophia Gift who married Charles Harmon/Harmony. Charles born ca. 1800, lived in Franklin Co., PA, moved to Missouri, remarried there ca. 1839, died ca. 1861. Family oral tradition says that his first wife's name was Sophia Gift, but I have been unable to find any documentary evidence of this. Online transcript of the will of George Gift of Franklin County, PA shows that he had a daughter Sophia in the right time frame. But I have no further info. Children of Charles Harmony and (presumably) Sophia Gift: Ephriam, Jeremiah, John F., Elizabeth (possibly married Felix Orner), Rebecca (possibly married Levi Burkholder), Catherine (possibly married Augustus Ward).
