JOHN & SARAH GILLESPIE -bio
John GILLESPIE, his wife Sarah FERGUSON and their 11 children immigrated fra Harriston, Ontario, Canada to Prairie Centre Township, ND in 1888.

They had emigrated fra Argyleshire, Scotland. Gaelic was the language spoken in their homes.

John GILLESPIE died in 1914 and Mrs GILLESPIE died in 1910. The eleven children grew up in Kensington, fertile and Prairie Centre Townships. There were ten sons:
