Grace M. Gillett, 72, of Defiance, died Sunday, February 1, 2009, at her residence.

She was born January 13, 1937, in Paulding County, the daughter of the late Charles W. and Dorothy Mae (Turner) Fellers.

Survivors include a son, Mark (Gail) Gillett of Grover Hill; one daughter, Brooke (Terry) Lantz of Cherokee, N.C.; two sisters, Barbara (Henry) McCartney of Defiance and Darlene (Jim) Proxmire of Cecil; and nine grandchildren.

An infant daughter, Sheila Gillett; and two sisters, Dolores Landers and Rowena Coon, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 7, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding, with the Rev. Ben Lowell officiating. Burial will be in Live Oak Cemetery in Paulding at a later date.

The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the time of services Saturday at the funeral home
