I am the last remaining granddaughter of Wilbert James Gillis from Lot 3 , Montrose, PEI. I have alot of Family pictures and various items that date back to the early 1800's - such as letters - newspapers - deeds of the original homestead of James John Gillis and other items from the Gillis family going back to the 1870's - and possible before ! I know very little of my GF as he has died before I was born - now I am the only one left with all of this info that I am sure some of you would enjoy reading and viewing.

I have traced a small family tree from the items that were left in the Gillis Trunk - but I am unaware of any of James's family or even his wife's name - but I do have a picture of her (she is my GG) !! I have some VERY old stuff that I hope you can enjoy.
I look forward to sharing it with you all in the near future - I will post what I have as I go through the items in the trunk !
