Girty, George. 1745-c. 1812. Loyalist partisan, Indian trader, b. Pennsylvania.
Lived among the Delaware Indians; served under Joseph Brant at Lochry's defeat, 24 or 25 August 1781. Brother of James and Simon Girty.
